How can I see what games my kid plays on Roblox?

By Boundly Team, Infinite Future · Last updated

The short answer

In your linked parent account, go to Settings → Parental Controls and tap your kid's name, then find Top games (it may say Top experiences, or be inside Screen time → Manage). It shows their top 20 games from the last week, how long they played each, and each game's rating.

Step by step: find Top games

  1. Open Roblox on your own phone or computer, signed in as you (the parent).
  2. Go to Settings → Parental Controls.
  3. Tap your kid's name.
  4. Find Top games (it may say Top experiences, or be inside Screen time → Manage).
  5. Read the list: their top 20 games from the last week, play time, and each game's rating.
  6. Take a screenshot if you want to check the games or come back to them later.

“Settings” means: on a computer, the gear at the top right; in the Roblox app, tap More (bottom right), then Settings. On the web you can also open Roblox Parental Controls directly — it opens in your browser, so sign in with your parent account, not your kid's. If you land on Account Info, tap Parental Controls in the menu.

What the list shows (and doesn't)

  • Top 20 games from the last week, sorted by total time, each with its content maturity label and play time.
  • It counts only time inside specific games, so it may not match the total in the screen-time chart (which covers all time on Roblox).
  • Removed games don't appear. If Roblox took a game down, it drops off the list.
  • Parents can still see screen time and top games after a kid turns 13.

Why the label might be different

Roblox's Help Center now says “games” where older pages said “experiences”, and its articles disagree on where the list sits: the Overview puts Top games on your kid's main page, while the screen-time article puts Top experiences under Screen time → Manage (Overview; Managing Screen Time). If you don't see it on the main page, check under Screen time.

Get the list by email every week

  1. Go to Settings → Parental Controls → your kid → Settings you manage.
  2. Tap Activity updates and turn it On.
  3. Every week Roblox emails you their screen time and top games.

What to do with the list

A rating next to each game is a start, but those labels come from a questionnaire the game's creator fills out (Roblox Help), and Florida's attorney general alleges that some games rated Minimal or Mild contained violent and sexualized content (Florida AG complaint). So for any title you don't recognize, look it up — and block the ones that don't fit your family. Here's how to block a game, and here's what each rating means.
